My sense of place will be the rehearsal room right before a performance. I hope to capture the sense of excitement, stress, and anticipation as well as the sounds and sights of the music when a concert is right around the corner. I’m thinking of including some shots of the instruments, the scattered music, and the areas that we practice in before heading to the stage.
Sense of Place Proposal
The place I am choosing to capture on camera is my church. I love this building and all the people in it. I plan to shoot the pictures on a sunny day to convey a warm, happy feeling. I have a rough idea of how I envision my final draft to look. There are a few rooms and people that I am excited to take pictures of for this assignment.
Sense of Place – Port of Brownsville
This tiny marina just north of where I live now holds a greater value to me since moving away from my childhood home. Just when I need a break and have to meditate, driving the 5 minutes is always worth it. I really want to paint this place with a peaceful light and share the peace it gives to me.
